Indian system of education faces a lot of challenges in maths. As per the survey news in Times of India Annual Status of Education Report 2018 ,there is little improvement in learning over the past few years in mathematics. In 2008, 37% of Class V students could do basic maths and now less than 28% can do it.
The problem towards disinterest or hatred of maths is risen so much that children opt out of maths after grade 10 in the school. Hence it has become important to understand that traditional system of education needs change. Hence , the solution to this problem has been found in Maplemaths and Vedic Maths.
